2. PROGRAMME OVERVIEW :
Often, warehouse has been perceived as an activity-based centre which involves more physical than mental. As time goes, roles of warehouse have been enhanced and become more important.

With the introduction of J.I.T concept, VMI and 3PL strategies, Warehouse Management has become more competitive. Greater demands are being placed in adding value, providing better services and higher efficiency with lower risks and costs in the warehouse management towards customer satisfaction.

This program will highlight the importance of warehouse management in the total Supply Chain Management (SCM). It will also bring along the participants to explore the activities involved in warehouse operations. It is structured to equip the participants with an overall view of warehouse operations and stimulate more effective practices in the manufacturing industries.
